This course examines how culture influences design through trend research, color, materials, form, and storytelling—centered on one in-depth project. You'll engage in discussions, create, and learn from industry experts. Perfect for curious students who link past and future, with some experience in visualization tools or a strong willingness to dive in.

Rebecca Goesling

Rebecca Goesling is a forecaster, brand storyteller, and CMF designer who blends trend research, visual storytelling, and aesthetics for clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500s. She also creates custom illustrations for culinary, fashion, and indie clients. Rebecca holds a BFA in Industrial Design from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
