Lonnie Tapia is a seasoned Latinx designer and artist with over 20 years of experience in design, branding, art, and community building. His past clients include Sony, Disney, Whole Foods, Snopes.com, Panera, Steppenwolf Theatre, TechCrunch, AOL, Planned Parenthood, Moxy Hotels, GLAAD, and Folsom Street Fair. As Associate Design Director at frog in San Francisco, Lonnie specializes in leading multidisciplinary teams to bring their best and most vibrant, emotional, and functional work to some of the world's most iconic brands. In his art practice he creates and sells portraits of his gay, queer, trans, and BIPOC community. At Square One, Lonnie will explore the theme of Identity as a professional designer and working artist alongside his identity as a queer, Latino, and indigenous person.
