Lodging / Airbnb

Airbnb — For staying in San Francisco, particularly areas close to conference activities and convenient access to popular attractions, here are some of the best neighborhoods to consider for an Airbnb.
Mission Bay
Modern, tech-savvy, waterfront.

Close to Oracle Park (home of the San Francisco Giants), UCSF campus, and the Chase Center. This neighborhood is known for its new developments and offers a blend of urban living with parks and waterfront views.

South Beach
Trendy, upscale, lively.

Located near the Embarcadero, with easy access to the Ferry Building, AT&T Park, and the bustling waterfront. South Beach is ideal for those who want to be close to downtown with a bit of luxury.

Embarcadero
Scenic, central, iconic.

This area is perfect for those who enjoy walks along the waterfront with stunning views of the Bay Bridge. It's also close to the Ferry Building, Exploratorium, and offers easy access to public transit.

Financial District
Business-oriented, convenient, central.

While it's quieter on weekends, the Financial District offers easy access to many of the city’s attractions, including Chinatown, North Beach, and the Embarcadero.

SoMa (South of Market)
Hip, artsy, vibrant.

Known for its art galleries, museums, and nightlife. SoMa is a large area with a mix of residential and commercial spaces, offering a diverse range of Airbnb options.

Potrero Hill
Quiet, residential, scenic.

Offers some of the best views of the city skyline and the Bay. Potrero Hill has a more residential feel but is still close to the bustling areas of Mission Bay and SoMa.
North Beach
Historic, lively, charming.

Known as San Francisco’s Little Italy, North Beach is famous for its historic charm, great restaurants, and proximity to landmarks like Coit Tower and Pier 39.

Each of these neighborhoods offers a unique experience, so the best choice depends on your preferences for scenery, proximity to attractions, and overall vibe.
