Tucker Fort

Partner


Tucker is a Partner and Executive Director at Smart Design, where he drives the company's design and engineering capabilities and serves as the sector lead for Consumer Packaged Goods, Consumer Goods, and Connected IoT. Tucker's expertise is widely recognized and his perspectives can be found in prominent publications including Vogue Business, Fast Company, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, and Bloomberg Businessweek. Tucker holds a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and a Masters of Industrial Design from Pratt Institute. His contributions to the field have been acknowledged with numerous design and innovation awards from organizations like IDSA, SXSW, Fast Company, IF, and Red Dot, and he is named on over 100 patents. 




Julianna Miller

 Design Director

Julianna Miller is an ID Director who has a passion for working in the gray area between ID, UX and strategy to bring new products to market. She brings expertise in user-centered product innovation, connecting the right product strategy for both brands and consumers with over 15 years of experience has worked across Healthcare, Fitness, Beauty and Consumer Packaged Goods. Her notable clients include Google, Sodastream, Starbucks and Plano and her work has received IF Design Awards and recognition for Fast Company.



Samuel Gutierrez 

Senior Designer

Samuel Vincent Gutierrez is interested in what makes everyday products feel personal to the people who choose them, and worth holding onto for years. With over 10 years of design consultancy experience, he brings a hands-on, iterative approach to development, pushing ideas broadly and learning through making. He has worked across Housewares, Consumer Electronics, Music, Toys and Beauty with SodaStream, Gatorade, OXO and Solo Stove, and his work has been recognized by iF Design.
