Housewares
with Carter McGuyerOffsite Intermediate
The Housewares course focuses on creating useful and thoughtful products for the home. Students will study everyday needs, changing lifestyles, new technologies, accessibility, and sustainability to identify design opportunities. Through research, concept development, and design refinement, students will create original housewares ideas that are practical, relevant, and well resolved. By the end of the course, each student will have developed a strong product concept worthy of inclusion in a professional design portfolio.
